July 10, 2007 - Naples, Florida Sunset
After spending a few days on Florida’s east coast, we made our way west to Naples via Aligator Alley - a long 2 lane road that cuts accross the famous South Florida everglades. Our plan was to meet with Rhona and Molly of the Pet Realty Network. Unfortunately, we misplaced their address. With no address to go to, we decided to call it a night in a local strip mall parking lot. Hoping that she would call us back immediately, I left Rhona a message letting her know that we were in town. Immediately never happened….
The next morning, Rhona finally called us back . I told her the name of the little strip mall where we held camp for the night and she knew exactly where we were and told us to sit tight. Too bad we don’t have someone with Rhona’s good sense of direction on the bus with us.

About 40 minutes later, Rhona and Molly show up. We’re greeted with big hugs and an invitation for breakfast. Then this dude in a suped up red corvette pulls up to us asking what a blog tour was. In true bloggerazzi TV fashion, we whipped out the camera and started shooting. He just so happened to be a minister who had a community blog. How cool is that? After we explained what the tour was about, he mentioned that his son was trying to sell his house with no luck. Guess who got the referral?
The convesration over breakfast was a pure joy. Virtually all topics were covered including everything real estate and blog related. But the most important thing is that we got to know them both on a more personal level. Online allowed us the introduction while offline solidified the relationship. Got that?

After breakfast, we received the grand tour of some of the finest residences Naples had to offer. Joe even got to see the infamous unzillowable Zillow house (can’t find the darn photo) who’s zestimate was just a tad off if you know what I mean
Surprisingly, there were many outdated little run down bungalows that sat on prime ocean front real estate - prime teardown prospects. While some may argue that they have outlived their highest and best use, others find their charm crucial to maintaing the neighborhoods roots and integrity.
We thanked Rhona and Molly for a great morning and were off…..until a few miles later when we realized that we forgot to have them sign our “autograph board”. So we called them back and they were gracious enough to come meet us again to give us their John Hancock.
